Last week, a few days ago, I went on a field trip with Katilyn's preschool to a local farmer who provided a pumpkin patch for the kids in our area. They showed the kiddos some autumn vegetables, they played in a hay maze (that is the big pumpkin Katilyn is standing inside), helped make a scarecrow, looked at a bee hive, went through a corn tunnel, and they picked out their own little tiny pumpkins to take home in their goodie bags. I enjoyed looking at the farmer's market afterwards...and I bought homemade, fresh salsa, cherry cider, and caramel corn puffs. We had a lot of fun together.
