I think we have found our waterhole. On a hot day, it's nice to go cool off! Union Reservoir is located about ten minutes away, down the road. A nice park was made next to the water, includes volleyball court, pavilions, and park equipment. We went there today.....it was very windy, and our beach ball blew away...after one attempt to chase it down and save it...hubby gave up! Grant realized an hour later it was gone and had a meltdown. At one point, Tyler kept chasing the ducks and laughing and they quacked and ran off. Katilyn was absolutely terrified when I tried to take her out deeper than her feet would touch to give her a swim lesson....and Adam had fun in the sand, water, but his biggest enjoyment was playing with my bathing suit top.....I had to hand him over to daddy after awhile to stay modest....we brought a water floatie for him, but he is almost too big for it, so he didn't stay in that long! We were there for an hour, and then my kids wanted to go play in the park section where the play equipment was....then we went and got a "bucket of chicken" and headed home!
