Did I hear that right?

My kids in the past were bribed into trying vegetables. Just tonight, I thought I needed to clean out my ears because my oldest child whined, "but mom, you didn't give me enough vegetables!" I thought I was hearing things and asked, "did you just ask for vegetables?"....and asked my husband if he heard that too. He laughed and said, "yes, our son just asked for vegetables". I never thought I would see this day. LOL
